Termite Boration is the processes of treating wood with a chemical that is absorbed into the wood killing any insect that comes in contact and remaining as a deterrent against future insect attacks |

Boration treatments can only be applied to untreated wood as any paint or varnish would block the chemical from being absorbed. Boration treatments can be applied in a wet or dry form, and can be blown into void spaces such as attics.
Unfortunately, “spot treatments” like Boration can only be applied to accessible areas and is not a recommended method of eliminating termites in a home, as termite colonies are generally located in deep, remote areas of a property where a technician would not be able to reach. |
